The Rights To Rights in the World

The Right to Rights in the World.

Humanity. Humane. Both words are very similar sounding yet share very little the same. To be humane is to show compassion. Humanity shows little sympathy for being a part of a world so bent on the teachings of empathy. A very small piece of humanity is humane. Humanity and humane need to be the same; this I believe.

Acceptance, respect, and equality are the three things we need in all of humanity to reach the equivalent of humane. From the mountains of harsh words building up to be a large eruption that fills the skies with dark ash like Pompeii we don’t see the volcano until it's already erupted; We don't see our mistakes until they’ve hurt someone or our race; like Vietnam a ticking time bomb and a battle between right and wrong. Why can’t we just get along? To the low lying prairies of regret with molding flowers and the decomposition of bodies serving as soil. I believe that we can change. I believe that if we learn to get along and learn to accept each other and learn to break the stereotypes that hurt people we can turn humanity into humane.

Accept each other. If one person doesn’t believe the same things that you do don't shoot them down, learn to understand that everyone has differences and everyone has a right to believe what they want. Were all just humans in a turning world with a clock tick tocking down to zero before our time is up.

Everyone should have a right to equality. Hate does not consecrate the better good. If humans stop spending their time fighting wars built on hate and defending their rights and instead focus on finding a middle ground in an argument or seeing  another person’s point of view we could move on. It’s the billion dollars a day spent on hate that keeps us from progress in the human race.

Women should have the same wage as men. Gays should be able to share the same rights as every other human. Christians, Catholics, Atheists and all religions in between should learn that everyone that doesn’t believe as they do doesn’t make them bad people. They should accept each other and learn from one another rather than stick to their guns and fill their clips with hate. Ethnicity's in the US deserve to have rights and not be discriminated against for the color of their skin. You can hate a person whose skin is different than yours but it shouldn’t be because of their color but rather their personality. Politics shouldn’t consist of one party isolating the other and feasting on them like predators. “A republican and a democrat sit in a room” shouldn’t be the start of a punchline to a joke because we should be able to have a republican and a democrat sit in a room together and be able to accept each others beliefs and understand that they have different viewpoints but that it's ok. We need to learn to be humane. We need to learn to show compassion because then maybe humanity can change and we won’t be a world so filled of hate and instead we will be a world filled with compassion.
